Day Fifteen: The Phantom

This morning we ventured around Williamsburg dons more and ate brekkie at a nice quaint liitle cafe in Zbedford Ave. We did our laundry and posted some mail - before heading down to the subway for more adventures. All of a sudden I felt like a New Yorker.

We hit the Met Art Gallery uptown. Quite a vast collection - huge infact. I particular loved the European 19th20th c gallery and the modern gallery. Pollock anwarhorses everywhere. There was also a cool gallery with Knights armor and weaponry - pretty cool! We spent hours there. In fact when we left it was late afternoon and so we headed to the upper east side for some more wanderings as well as some bagels with cream cheese. Simone is loving them. I had a cheeseburger from a diner deli, really tasty but probably not so healthy. Oh well, very good meat to bun ratio tho...

We then hit Times Square, waiting inline for more Broadway Tix. We got lucky and got Phantom tix. Never seen Phantom of the Opera, but after the show, I think it's my favourite. Was fabulous. Was quite something seeing it on Broadway too. Phenomonal!

I'm kinda Broadwayed out tho now - but it was fun albeit expensive...

  1. Seems like the Mariani musical season. Mum and I saw Hairspray at Princess Theater in Melbourne. Glad you liked Phantom. It is great I agree. Broadway now that's something to be enjoyed while you are there.
